Not knowing

For me, there's almost nothing worse than not knowing; I just don't have patience. It could be just about anything, something completely random and trivial, but if I don't know the answer, I'm frustrated.

Imagine how much worse it is when the question isn't trivial--when there's actually something riding on it.

Sometimes though, I think that maybe it's not that I don't know, but more that I don't like the answer very much and I think that if I wait long enough, maybe the answer will change. It's worked a couple of times, but only a couple.

How many more times does it have to not work before I get the picture?

Wouldn't I like to know. ;-)
