The fun plans started last night, even if they were a bit low-key. The pizza Joe and I had last night turned out fabulously! As I mentioned I might suggest, we ended up watching The Departed in the spirit of Whitey Bulger's arrest. Granted, it's not based strictly on him and his activities, but it was fun nonetheless. As a recap, I used whole wheat pizza dough and tomato basil sauce from Trader Joe's, with yellow and red bell peppers, broccoli, and Daiya mozzarella-flavored vegan cheese.

| The missing piece is where I tried the dough to test if it was done. Of course that's why I ate it! |
Tomorrow we're going to the Phantom Gourmet BBQ Beach Party at City Hall Plaza. I bought us two tickets, but then Joe revealed that he got a voucher for two free tickets while he was at the bachelor party. Oops. Janice is going to buy my tickets though, so that helps. I've never been to this event before, but it looks like it will be a blast (provided the weather holds). There's a Ferris wheel, BBQ restaurant owners from all over the world, two beer gardens, and live music. I can't wait!
Sunday Joe is spending the day with Sean and I'm going to the airport to pick up/accompany two girls I used to babysit in college. They're going to summer camp around Boston and their parents are out of the country, so they're flying as unaccompanied minors and need someone to meet them at the gate and then get them to the pickup location. I can't wait for this either! These girls are a lot of fun to be around and always a hoot. It should be a really fun time. After that I'll either go shopping with Janice (she also needs dresses for summer weddings) or lay low at home.
Whew! Looking like a good weekend!
